A Man Of His Words, Wanted Man Surrendered After Challenging Police To Get 1000 Shares.

Micheal Zaydel 21, messaged police who put an appeal to find him, saying that he would surrender himself if the police managed to get 1000 shares on the Facebook on their next post and also promised doughnuts.

Redford Township Police Department in Detroit easily passed the milestone after posting his message, which was shared over 4,000 times.

It turns out that he is a man of his word, he turned himself in at the Redford Township Police Department with a dozen doughnuts and a bagel for good measure.

 The Detroit area man  calls himself as ‘Champagne Torino’ on Facebook.

But before he turned himself in he taunted the police on Facebook writing “You guys suck!”

He was sentenced to 39 days in jail on Tuesday, a day after walking into the Redford Township police department.

Zaydel, who was originally arrested for misdemeanours, told TV station WXYZ that ‘cops like doughnuts,’ and he wanted to reward them for any inconvenience. Sgt. Duane Gregg, who got the bagel, said Zaydel was arrested when he appeared on Monday.

He refused to comment on whether other officers ate the doughnuts.
