Have you always wanted to get lost in New York just like the naughty Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) did in the 1990’s holiday classic Home Alone series? Well we are not sure about the getting lost part but you sure can live like Kevin at The Plaza Hotel. For the uninitiated, that’s the hotel where Kevin takes up residence after he accidentally ends up in New York all by himself.

In celebration of Home Alone 2’s 25th anniversary, yeah, it’s been 25 years, New York’s Plaza Hotel is offering guests a fun-filled Kevin McCallister package.

For those looking to live like Kevin at The Plaza Hotel, can book the packages that start at $895, which is almost as much as Kevin spent for the swanky room service in the movie.

‘In room and throughout the hotel a variety of experiences inspired by Kevin’s time over the holiday’s here at The Plaza will come to life for guests to enjoy,’ according to the hotel’s website. ‘Guests will then be invited to dine in the Todd English Food Hall to taste-test a 90’s inspired menu ‘with upscale versions of childhood favourites, or to head over to the interactive photo-experience where they’ll find themselves in Kevin’s New York journey’.

Included in the package is an ‘over-the-top’ ice cream sundae from room service, just like the one Kevin had in the film and plenty of other gifts including Home Alone 2 branded merchandise – like a backpack, a t-shirt, and Anniversary Edition Blu-ray copy of the film.

The hotel concierge will also arrange for guests to experience quintessential New York sights, like the Empire State Building, Wollman Rink and a limo trip through the city. The package is available from December 1st, 2017 through October 29th, 2018.

And hopefully, unlike Kevin, you probably won’t be seeing Donald Trump at the Plaza.
