Birmingham : The Indian cricket team is very unhappy with the training facilities at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground with both coach Anil Kumble and skipper Virat Kohli expressing their concern with the local authorities.
Thursday was the first day for team India at Birmingham and they were allocated the practice arena near the Main stadium, the practice arena according to the Indian team was very small and it was very difficult for the pace bowlers .
Indian Pacers Umesh yadav ,Md.Shami and Hardhik Pandya usually have a 30 yard run up and they could not bowl tilt at the nets as the distance was not enough.
Indian Coach and Skipper were upset over this issue and asked team Manager Kapil Malhotra to sort the issue out with Warwickshire (local county) authorities.
Team India want’s to practice at the main arena but was denied because Australia and NewZealand who have a match were given access to main ground.
The Pakistan team also practiced at the same ground but since they have been camping in Birmingham for the past week, have had access to the main practice arena.
India will only get a feel of the main turf on Saturday, prior to the big clash.
