1. Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor joined Shiamak Davar’s dance institute at a very young age. Since joining he had many opportunities to appear as a background dancer in many movies like Dil To Pagal Hai and Taal. His also made an appearance in the music album by Aaryans ‘Ankhon main,’ which was a turning point in his career.
2. Kajal Aggarwal
The ‘Singham’ famed actress Kajal Aggarwal matched steps with Aishwarya Rai in the movie ‘Kyon Ho Gaya Na’. The film released in the year 2004 and Kajal was seen dancing along with Aishwarya in the song ‘Uljhane’.
3. Dia Mirza
Dia Mirza started her career as a background dancer in a Tamil song from the movie En Swasa Kaatre. The song was such a hit that there was a Hindi remake of the same called Jumbalika.
4. Sushant Singh Rajput
Just like Shahid Kapoor, Sushant was also part of Shiamak Davar’s dance institute. He was seen in the title song of ‘Dhoom 2’ along with Hrithik Roshan.
5. Arshad Warsi
Long before taking centre stage as a leading man, Arshad Warsi was seen as background dancer in Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar’s movie ‘Aag Se Khelenge’.
6. Daisy Shah
Daisy Shah, who started her career through ‘Jai Ho’ was seen as a background dancer in Salman Khan’s film ‘Tere Naam’.
7. Remo D’Souza
Before he became one of the best-known choreographers and directors in the Indian film industry, Remo D’Souza was just another struggler in Bollywood. He was seen as a background dancer in Akshay Kumar’s film Aflatoon and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pardes.
